Gilgil Technical and Vocational College is situated in Nakuru County, Gilgil Constituency, Elementaita Ward, Kiambogo Location, Munanda Village. It is built on 10 Acres piece of land; formally belonging to public and later allotted to the college.
The construction of the twin workshop of GILGIL Technical and Vocational College, was completed on 14th June, 2022; and there after handed over on 7th July 2022.
The institute drives its mandate and functions from the technical and vocational education and training act, 2013.Currently, it is managed by the Board of Governors from Nairobi Technical Training Institute being the mentor; and it is under the Ministry of Education State Department of TVET.
The college was registered as a Technical and Vocational College by TVETA on 31st October 2022 and given a license to train in various technical courses.
